Transocean

Transocean, an offshore drilling company, occupies a high floor in Botafogo, Rio de Janeiro, with views of Sugarloaf Mountain and Christ the Redeemer. Proh's design brings the shared areas to the facade so the landscape becomes part of everyday life: the café, the dining tables and the main meeting rooms sit along the windows.

At reception, a white counter with a light reveal and a video panel introduce the company. The waiting area and the lounge use wooden benches with blue upholstery, and a video wall shows the offshore operations.

Workstations with height-adjustable desks, acoustic booths, focus rooms and pantries complete the program. Since the first build-out, in 2023, Transocean has come back to Proh every year for new phases of the office.
