A new headquarters does not erase history. It continues it.

MR.CAT moved to the 17th floor of City Tower, in downtown Rio de Janeiro, opening a new chapter in a history built over decades. The design challenge was to work with what already existed: to preserve elements of the floor and give them new meaning in a contemporary language, instead of starting from scratch.

In approximately 700 m², the administrative headquarters and showroom share the same floor. Long wooden tables, lit shelves for displaying products and open workstations sit alongside meeting rooms facing the city and a pantry that works as a meeting point. Memory, transformation, materiality and movement guided every design decision.

A story that continues, now in a space that matches the next steps.
